Remembering my 1st textbook launched 20 years ago

 Orgullo humilde de mi primer libro de texto publicado en el 2004.

Dijo alguien que la clave de la felicidad a partir de los 50 años es saber ver y disfrutar de los logros que has alcanzado en tu vida hasta este momento.

A mis ya 55 años, a veces me siento en el balcon de mi casa y veo a mi hija jugar delante mio mientras se lo pasa bien y es feliz. En ese momento, entiendo que ese es, ha sido y sera mi principal logro en la vida. (aunque no sea el unico)

Hace ahora mismo 20 años esperaba que llegase al mundo un trabajo academico de mas de 2 años de investigacion y docencia al que habia dedicado bastantes horas sin esperar retribucion a cambio. Este fue mi primer "niño academico" al que vi nacer con mucha alegria y al que hoy quiero recordar (aun guardo la fotocopia del diario  de barcelona "La Vanguardia" citando el evento en el el escinto ISM, convertido hoy en ESIC university (Barcelona). La obra fue incluida en casi una docena de temarios de la asignatura "Direccion Estrategcia de la Empresa"del grado universitario de Adminsitracion y Direccion de Empresas en diversas universidades espanolas. tales como Sevilla, Burgos, Complutense o Banco de España. 

Doy gracias a Dios por dejarme trabajar en esta ciencia tan fascinante de la mano de entidades academicas y profesionales tales como IESE Business School EAE Business School, ESIC Business & Marketing School, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona IAU Institute for American Universities, CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, Kasetsart University.

Humble pride in my first textbook published in 2004.

Someone said that the key to happiness after the age of 50 is knowing how to see and enjoy the achievements you have achieved in your life up to this point. 

At 55 years old, sometimes I sit on the balcony of my house and watch my daughter play in front of me while she has a good time and is happy. At that moment, I understand that this is, has been and will be my main achievement in life. (although I'm not the only one). 

Right now 20 years ago I was waiting for an academic work of more than 2 years of research and teaching to reach the world to which I had dedicated many hours without expecting remuneration in return. This was my first "academic child" whom I saw born with great joy and whom I want to remember today (I still have the photocopy of the Barcelona newspaper "La Vanguardia" citing the event in the ISM B-School, (now converted into ESIC University) at Barcelona. The work was included in almost a dozen syllabi of the subject "Strategic Business Management" of the university degree in Business Administration and Management in various Spanish universities such as Seville, Burgos, Complutense or Banco de España. 

I thank God for letting me work in this fascinating science alongside academic and professional entities such as IESE Business School EAE Business School, ESIC Business & Marketing School, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona IAU Institute for American Universities, CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, Kasetsart University.
