Leadership and Ethics: Where can we find God?

Professor Ajarn Sawet, RIP. Professor Sawet was my good friend and he just passed away this week. During all his life he taught at North & Chiang Mai University in Thailand. My wife and I forged a great friendship since many years ago with him and his wife Nina and their 2 lovely and brilliant daughters.  After struggling with cancer his death was imminent. What is remarkable is that 48 h before he passed away (in terminal time) he received a last visit to the hospital from his old students from Chiang Mai University. They wanted to say "bye" to him personally and to thank Professor Ajarn Sawet for all those days of knowledge, wisdom, and friendship.  Ajarn Sawet always went beyond its role as a professor and helped people in many ways. It speaks very highly of my Thai people and this group of students to behave in this way, respecting, thanking, and supporting during the most difficult times. (maybe other cultures in the Western world we should learn from this....). Prof...

My obituary: See you later Ajarn Sawet

See you later my friend!  Sad days. My good friend, Professor (Ajarn Sawet) has passed away this week.  Ajarn Sawet was a vocational and experienced professor and the right hand of the President of North Chiang Mai University. Not only did he touch thousands of students' hearts but was a good friend and a 1st class person.  When I worked for you in Chiang Mai a few years ago I always felt you were very close to me, not only professionally but as a friend. I will miss our plans, our talks, our dinners together and the lessons always learned from you. My condolences and all my support for Nina and your 2 beloved daughters, they are your Master Piece Ajarn.   Now Rest in Peace my friend, I am sure we will see each other in the next life. Love you mate.
